2 Kings 4:27
²⁷When she came to the mountain to the man of God, she clung to his feet. Gehazi came to thrust her away, but the man of God said, Let her alone, for her soul is bitter and vexed within her, and the Lord has hid it from me and has not told me.
Life is full of tough situations as well as unchanging circumstances nevertheless, in the midst of it all; there is a glimmer of hope. It is easy to feel stagnant and hopeless, like water that has lost its flow. Prayer may feel empty, as if there is a void within us but let me tell you about a woman, the Shunemite influential woman, granted a child yet her husband was in his late years through a prophetic hand yet within no time the son died. It is the feeling of unimaginable pain, a feeling of emptiness for the loss of her only child yet therein she still had a glimmer of hope. In her grief, she held on to something, something that gave her strength and miraculously, that same woman received her dead child back, restored to life.
2 Corinthians 4:18
¹⁸While we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal: but the things which are not seen are eternal.
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
So keep in there, keep the hope alive but above all, let faith be your move, having eyes that look beyond your circumstance, for therein is the unseen, which yet is to manifest to an everlasting tangible result. Therefore, let your heart be glad, your tongue rejoice and your body secured, for the God of all Hope steadfastly and unquestionably is on your case, concerned about every detail, speedily He comes to your aid though He seems to tarry yet His help comes at once.
In times when everything seems to falter, I know of a God who never fails. He may seem silent, but He is always near, just an inch away. His eyes are open, and His ears are inclined to hear the prayers of someone like you.
I understand that questions arise, doubt creeps in, and faith may waver but remember, even in the darkest of times, there is still a glimmer of hope. Hold on, for there is a God who can bring life to the deadest of situations.
