Irrespective, Stay with Jesus the Master!

John 6:66-68
⁶⁶From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.⁶⁷Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? ⁶⁸Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Prior to the above text, Jesus had fed 5000 men which prompted some of them to even want to make him King by force, He walked on water in the night, and the next day in the synagogue he talked of himself being the bread of life. This was a complete display of the power of Jesus as the son of God. Yet even the witnessing of the power of Christ and the performance of miracles didn’t deter some of Jesus’s disciples from willfully walking away from him, John 6:66.[⁶⁶From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him’.]
Those who walked away were disciples who made a personal decision to go a different direction, what possible reason could one have to decide that life is better without Christ than it is with Him?, no viable reason! According to the book of Mathew 7:26,27, those who hear what the master says and choose not to obey him are foolish, you cannot remain a faithful servant of Jesus if you choose to forsake him, it’s TRUE there are many tribulations in this world but Christ tells us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world and as we face tribulations, we face them in the strength of Christ who is in us and is greater than all and is our hope of glory.

John 12:26
²⁶If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
Though it is claimed that it is not possible for the disciples of Jesus to sin in such a way that they should fall yet the book of (1 Corinthians 10:12) tells us to take heed lest we fall, the bible still teaches that one who has turned away from the truth is dead and needs to be saved according to (James 5:19-20)

2 Peter 2:21
²¹For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
Choosing to forsake the master is not just dangerous but a dooming act too.

1 Peter 1:19
¹⁹But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:,
This shows and teaches us that our master is perfect and without blame so if one choses to walk away, Christ is never to blame but themselves , regardless of our response to Jesus’s teachings, His words will always remain words of truth and eternal life, there is only one truth that makes sense ‘Lord to whom shall we go, seeing that you have the words of eternal life ‘like peter said when faced with the question of whether he will also leave or not. The persuasion to stay with the master and His truth is what gives our lives true meaning like Job stayed Irrespective of the loss of all his physical worth as a man.

Prophetic Utterance:

I choose to run my race faithfully in Christ Jesus
But I am not of them that draw back in to perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want
Halleluya.
