2 Corinthians 10:18 (Amp)
For [it is] not [the man] who praises and commends himself who is approved and accepted, but [it is the person] whom the Lord accredits and commends.
The only recommendation you will ever need is one that God has accredited. This is a letter that you can walk in any door with and you will be accepted because God said so regardless of what others think.
Our only problem as Christians is that sometimes we look at our works and the way we live and then we commend ourselves.
Luke 18:9
⁹And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:¹⁰Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.¹¹The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publicans¹²I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.¹³And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.¹⁴I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
From the above passage we see a man so sure of his works of righteousness. He had kept the law to the dot, he walked in slow motion and was perfect. In our carnal eyes everyone would say the Pharisee was the perfect picture of righteousness. The Bible does say that our righteousness should exceed that of the Pharisees
Matthew 5:20
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Which implies that to some point they were righteous in keeping the law, but God found fault in this righteousness because it was that of works, a righteousness of which you praise and commend yourself, for this kind, he said that one wouldn’t enter into the kingdom of heaven with.
Only God gets to verify and recommend you and you can trust His judgement even when through your eyes it doesn’t make sense, like how He chose a murderer, persecutor of the true gospel and Christians to go preach to the very people he was persecuting..
Acts 9:15
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
Prophetic Utterance:
I am the recommendation sent by God to the lost souls
I am justified and sanctified by the word
I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus

2 Corinthians 3:1 (TPT)
Are we beginning to sound like those who speak highly of themselves? Do you really need letters of recommendation to validate our ministry, like others do? Do we really need your letter of endorsement? Of course not!²For your very lives are our “letters of recommendation,” permanently engraved on our hearts, recognized and read by everybody.³As a result of our ministry, you are living letters written by Christ, not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God—not carved onto stone tablets but on the tablets of tender hearts
Amen, I am the righteousness of God through christ Jesus 🙏
