And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
The opening verse intrigues me, it shows really how Jesus gave an open cheque to whoever could receive. He did not specify what was meant to be opened. Imagine if a man of faith was standing near by and received that word for whatever situation had been blocked in his life? Wouldn’t he have received his miracle? Just like the woman with the issue of blood, Jesus was on His way to Jairus’ house to heal his daughter but because of the woman’s faith, she ‘stole’ a miracle in someone else’s time. (Mark 5:22-35)
Many Christians today are stuck at the entrance of an open door and yet ALL things have been freely given. My question to them is what is stopping you from going through the open door that has been set open before you? Is it your belief or unbelief unbelief? In other wards have you believed simply because you are desperate and yet your faith is still lacking that you have unbelief?
And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Are you going to let the hardship/obstacles of life beat you down from getting the miracle that has been freely given to you? Let’s face it, the enemy is not ready to see you win the Bible saying;
1 Corinthians 16:9
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
…but regardless of the tribulations that come your way, you have to understand that you are more than a conqueror…and that is a given!!! The Bible says that God has opened for you gates that shall not be shut, honestly only you have the option of rejecting the open door and walking the other direction.
Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
My eyes are open to see the doors opened before me
I grab every opportunity in every season to see my miracle manifest
I refuse to be a spectator of other people’s open doors
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
