Assured but never silent

Mark 4:38-39
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

In the midst of the stormy sea, the disciples cried out in agony, for Jesus was sleeping peacefully. Jesus was amidst them , nevertheless there was a storm, I could only imagine if they had kept silent because he was in their midst nevertheless , they cried out to him , scripture says;

Isaiah 58:9
Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

And He will say here I am: It’s not that He has been far away but that He has been waiting for the voice of the beloved.
“… I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:20).

We have the assured presence of God, nevertheless still call to Him and He will respond. If they had stayed silent they probably would have drowned yet with the master on the boat. (what about Jesus I wonder-He could walk on water and also could resurrect the drowned).
Courage and fear work hand in hand, as a believer one may find themselves in a position of fear and despair but hold on to Jesus even when it appears He is asleep, atleast He is in the boat.
When a child calls out to his parent, it’s inevitable for the parent to respond, it’s like when someone calls out your name, everything else freezes and you turn to respond to the call or atleast see to take note.

In like manner, whether it be trouble or not, when we call out to our beloved he will respond and as the psalmist says:

Psalm 145:18
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

We have to break out of our fears , doubts feelings and call out to God. He is near but longs to hear the voice of one just like You.

Prophetic Utterance:

My light breaks forth as the morning, my health springs forth speedily, His righteousness goes before me and His Glory is my reward, my light rises in obscurity and my darkness as the noon day , I break forth for He is not far but closer than close.
Halleluya.
