A “Leah” yet a vessel of Honor

Genesis 29:32-35
³²And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the Lord hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me. ³³And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the Lord hath heard I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon. ³⁴And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi. ³⁵And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the Lord: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

Leah is caught in between being married to one who only has eyes for his sister Rachael, the Feeling of being un loved , despised and rejected!! But does that really define who you are and how God can use You to pursue His purpose?

Ephesians 3:20
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory..

God can do exceedingly more than we ask or think , He is able to turn your life around and use the inadequacy in You, He can turn your insecurities into a sense of security and make you more reliable than what you deemed!! The un loved Leah, the girl with squinted eyes, becomes a bearer of the redeemer’s line.

Often times when in a state of feeling unloved, despised and rejected, we feel not wanted, empty, irrelevant yet God sees us as vessels worthy of Honor, vessels of great use and value and of great relevance to His salvation purpose.

2 Timothy 2:20-21
²⁰But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. ²¹If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
No matter the feeling, God sees you a great vessel to bring Him honor, to carry out His redemption plan. Leah was held in that position of being unloved and rejected yet through her we have a glimpse of God’s redemption in her children and we have Christ come as descendant from the tribe of Judah through David.
In Reuben-see a son, Simeon-God hears, Levi-now will my husband be joined unto me, Judah- now Will I Praise the Lord, Issachar- God is given me my hire/ reward, Zebulun-Now will my husband dwell with me..
God saw our affliction and gave us a son ( Unto us a son is born, Isaiah 9:6) through whom we have great confidence that if we ask anything in His name He hears us and through Him are we joined unto the Lord for He that is Joined to the Lord is one spirit, for this reason we praise Him who dwells in us and in whom we have all spiritual blessings.
Are You aware that who you are and what you are going through can’t separate you from being a vessel unto God?

Prophetic Utterance:

I am loved, accepted and chosen of God, a vessel unto honor, i declare the praise of He that has delivered And looked unto my affliction, I am one with the father.
Halleluya
