Reflections on Gratitude: Remember God

Deuteronomy 8:18
¹⁸And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Reflect on the hand that lifted you up when you were drowning in misery, covered in grime, and your goodness appeared worthless. When you were shunned, denied, ostracized, accused, shamed, and shattered. Recall the hand that saved you from the depths of damnation.
Remember, He who has protected you since your birth. Many unborn were terminated but you were preserved. Many were discarded but you were kept, many were abandoned but you found a place to call home. Remember the hand that has always been there for you, guiding and protecting you through all of life’s trials and tribulations.

Psalm 105:5
⁵Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth

A Man/Woman generously supports his/her partner, only to be met with ingratitude when they settle into a Home established as a married couple. Despite being a complimenting factor to each other, one ultimately disrespects the other because status changed and seek separation. This serves as a reminder that no matter how high we climb, we should always remember and be grateful to the ones that supported us along the way, we should never forget the blessings and grace that God bestows upon us.
Remember there is always someone who will appreciate what you do not appreciate! When Israel abandoned God, the gentiles embraced and appreciated Him.

Ecclesiastes 12:1
¹Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”

Remember God, in the good times and bad times, for therein lies a strength for you to push on through to the next level.
In the battlefield of life, we fight but without God’s hand, we battle in vain. No lifting, no wealth, no victory in sight without Him, our efforts are but pain. For He is the source of all we seek. In Him, our strength and courage peak. So let us humbly bow our heads and trust in Him to lead us ahead. For without His guiding hand, we are lost. In Him, we will find our victory secure for His mighty hand will make everything realign.

Psalms 127:1
¹Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Prophetic Utterance:

I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore, my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul.
