Revelation 20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
If the book of life is opened and books are opened, is it a recount of people’s deeds??
For as long as you re in Christ , Your book of record is Him, that it’s no longer your deeds that count but His deed: He died , He rose and atoned for all sin, to them that believe He has given a right to be called Children of God.
It is not God’s hobby to recount our wrongs, Isaiah says: He blots out our sins and remembers them no more, Micah marvels; Who is a God like You, Who forgives iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retains not His anger forever, because He delights in mercy and loving-kindness. He will again have compassion on us; He will subdue and tread underfoot our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea (Micah 7:18-19) and the psalmist proclaims; As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us (Psalms 103:12)
1 Corinthians 1:30
“But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption”
When God looks at the redeemed You, He sees the work of Christ in You, His accomplishment on the cross, an imputed righteousness.. So you can either choose to believe in and remain in Christ or be blinded by the grip of religion like the law, by your deeds as the evidence of your self efforts, like Adam covered with fig leaves that amount to man’s self effort, covering a nakedness not covered, with your shame or sins still exposed.
Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
To blot out is to erase, you can’t erase something that was not there, it simply means if it can be blotted out, it was there in the first place, hence your name has eternally been in the book of life, live a life that shows it, you are a child of the light, walk in the light.
We ought to move past baseless assumptions, God is not unstable that He keeps rubbing off people’s names and rewriting them!!
I believe we have heard that prayer that says: Remove my name from the book of death to the book life, let’s move past assumption; just because there is a book of life doesn’t mean there is a book of death, evidently speaking that would be like God is ready to lead people to the slaughter house Himself yet He says He is patient for everything, not wanting any to perish but to be saved.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
So why would God have a book of death set aside! even though apart of Israel is still blinded , nevertheless, He still considers them as His beloved ( Romans 11:28)
This evidently shows that God is concerned about every soul He made, it is His breath, His image, for God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have Everlasting life ( John 3:16).
So it’s no longer about deeds or fear of doing this and that wrong but rather standing firm in Christ and continuing in the faith, working it out in love, and reverential fear of the Lord.
We re already judged in Christ Jesus by His word, there is no good outside His word thus those that reject Christ our salvation are open for judgement.
John 12:47-50
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
The above is like natural law, similar crimes call for a duplications of rulings, so either comfort to the word now or wait for its truth at a later time.
Prophetic Utterance:
I am the beloved and begotten of the Lord by the precious blood of Jesus,
I am redeemed and justified,
I am embraced by His goodness,
My sins, He cast in the sea of forgetfulness!!
I am the best of God

⁴⁷And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. ⁴⁸He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. ⁴⁹For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.⁵⁰And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
