2 Corinthians 5:20-21
²⁰Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. ²¹For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
We are ambassadors for Christ: An ambassador is a representative or diplomat, authorized to speak as God’s emissary. We are the voice of heaven on Earth spreading the good news of Christ’s sacrifice and love to those around us. Our God Himself worked a work, came from His heavenly throne to reconcile men to Himself through Christ Jesus, made to be sin for our righteousness (2 Corinthians: 5: 18-19).
He has now entrusted us to that very role, to reconcile men to Him, to show them the way to redemption and eternal life. Let us embrace this calling with humility and obedience, knowing that we bear the privilege and responsibility of being God’s messengers on Earth.
1 Peter 2:11
¹¹Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.
We are just visitors on Earth surrounded by wickedness, Sheep among the wolves. (Mathew 10:16, Behold I send out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves). Nevertheless, our role is to do rightly and align people back to God, they that are trapped in their wickedness, even through insults. Let us hold our stead and know that reconciling men to God is the ultimate goal, to make those formerly non-citizens heavenly citizens. So Paul writes regarding the gentiles who were not considered part of God’s household:
Ephesians 2:11-13
¹¹Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands. ¹²that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. ¹³But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Peter reminds us of how this world is not our home and thus pleads with us not to be cozy in it and indulge in worldly pleasures at the expense of our souls so that we may win many to God’s side.
Genesis 19:9
⁹But they said, Stand back! And they said, This fellow came in to live here temporarily, and now he presumes to be [our] judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them. So they rushed at and pressed violently against Lot and came close to breaking down the door.
Lot tried to negotiate with the wicked men so they do not sexually perverted acts to his visitors whom he knew were not mere men. Scripture presents Lot as a righteous man that was distressed(vexed) about the ways of the ungodly as seen in (2 Peter 2:6-8…), despite his plea, Lot is reminded of how he is just but a visitor, an alien in the land and shouldn’t make or give any instruction on how to live.
When Lot tried to convince these men out of their evil scheme, it was like preaching to them but he was rejected. Despite the rejection, hold your claim, just as Steven did even though he was being stoned to death but therein he knew heaven was open to receive Him.
Prophetic Utterance:
I am the voice of God speaking, a diplomat, highly ranked, reconciling men to Christ, I walk in that calling because I am graced and blessed to re-align men to God, making paths straight and mending the breach through Christ.
Halleluya

¹⁶They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18As You sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
2 Peter 2:7
⁷And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds)
