The Will of the father

Colossians 1:9-10
⁹For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; ¹⁰That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

God’s will is to see us flourish eternally as it is the will of the father to see His children eternally flourish be in purity or health or wealth, anything to do with You , He desires you to be fruitful.
Child of God, God has You at the fore front of His will, anything outside His goodness is not his will, sickness is not your portion, neither is captivity, nor poverty and worse still the sting of Sin.

John 5:8-9
⁸Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” ⁹And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.

Jesus healed an impotent sick man at the pool of bethesda controversially on the sabath day and the jews were after Jesus for breaking the law, what the jews didn’t understand was that whatever Jesus did was the desire / will and emulation of the Father in heaven. This happened after thirty eight years of being sick!! One would wonder , whether it was the will of God or not but certainly it is God’s will to see us flourish in health that is the reason He sent his son Jesus to die for the whole world and re align everything to Himself.

John 5:21
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.” this takes me to Martha’s un deniable statement:

“John 11:21-22
²¹Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. ²²But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.

The above desire of Martha looks like an emotional response to the loss of her brother, yet it is God’s own desire that lazarus will be raised back to life and this is confirmed when Jesus comes and calls back Lazarus to life. We notice that God heard Israel’s cry when they were held back in captivity as well.

Exodus 3:7
And the LORD said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

When Jesus prayed: Father if you are willing, take this cup away from me nevertheless, let your will be done!! This was towards His crucification, it’s not that He was going through a good experience but rather that He knew God had something coming out of the price He had to pay, so stop querying, whining and complaining, God still desires to see You Flourish.

Prophetic Utterance :

I am in the will of God, fruitfulness is my portion, health is my garment, joy and laughter fill me up, for the Lord has me at heart, I walk in purity and fruitfulness in Christ Jesus.
Hallelujah
