John 21:5-6
⁵Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. ⁶And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
Life is a journey of discovery, full of twists and turns. When Peter and the other disciples decided to follow him on a fishing trip, it was a moment of uncertainty and curiosity. Their relationship with Jesus had been their guiding light and now they were left to navigate the waters of life on their own just as the frequent moments with Him were no more the same. Unanswered questions lingered in their minds as they looked on to push on and as they hurled down the net, toiling all night to catch the fish with results in view, meanwhile stood by the lake shore a man unidentified yet known, least did they know that in their hustle, was one who could make the catch easy, Jesus!!
2 Peter 1:3
³His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
What you need Jesus has, whatever you are looking for is right in His hands, when life seems like it is on the edge, and confusion seems to be your thing, perplexed with what is next, all you need to remember is that a man (Jesus) is standing by. He is right beside you standing and waiting for you to recognise Him, ready to give you a hand, though unnoticed nevertheless, He is always ready to give you the lift, the help, and the guidance you need.
Mathew 8:26-27
²⁶And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. ²⁷But the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
When the disciples felt the tension from the wind that caused commotion, they only needed to realize, that Jesus was right by their side. When they needed to pay tax, in a moment of confusion and lack, Jesus showed them the way, to trust in Him and obey (Mathew 17:24-27).
Where is your aid amidst confusion, will you trust and obey, will you set yourself to recorgnise His presence to your aid?
Prophetic Utterance:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you, Lord are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Halleluya
