Esther 2:12-13
¹²Now when the turn of each maiden came to go in to King Ahasuerus, after the regulations for the women had been carried out for twelve months–since this was the regular period for their beauty treatments, six months with oil of myrrh and six months with sweet spices and perfumes and the things for the purifying of the women ¹³Then in this way the maiden came to the king: whatever she desired was given her to take with her from the harem into the king’s palace.¹³]Now when the turn for Esther the daughter of Abihail, the uncle of Mordecai who had taken her as his own daughter, had come to go in to the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s attendant, the keeper of the women, suggested. And Esther won favor in the sight of all who saw her.

So Esther and the girls who contested to the queenship in replacement of queen Vashti go through the purification process which took 12 months of beauty treatments: it’s is written that everything they needed was given to them..but it is a highlight that Esther required nothing more to what she had after that inorder to meet the King, remarkably, most girls like to have that extra look to hit the lights, catching every eye; Esther deemed that the purification process was just enough and Hegei’s word was just key to everything!! what she had attained in that process was enough to make her beauty stand out.

There is nothing more needed to add to what Christ did on the cross, women like to add extra beautifications yet the beauty is already bestowed, religion, likes to add a set of rules yet it is no more rules or laws but faith, an obedience to Christ, works are added to make an extra effort to righteousness, it’s like adding sugar to honey yet it has its own unique and better taste outside the creativity of man’s cleverness.

2 Corinthians 5:21
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

He has bestowed upon us His righteousness, nothing needs to be added to the atonement work of Jesus ( Esther never required anything else than what the chamberlain said unlike other women). Our righteousness / own works like Isaiah says are as filthy rugs. To have access to the King and spend eternity with Him, It is not what you do that matters but what has been said-the word, It is a righteousness that comes through obedience to the word (Simply receive Jesus and see all things fall into a perfect fit)

John:19:30
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

God’s work of salvation is finished, when Jesus lay on that rugged cross and uttered “it is finished”, a seal to the work of atonement, it is not a work in progress that needs to be completed, that we need to make additions to it. No!! it is not sugar added to honey.

Joshua 8:30-31
³⁰Then Joshua built an altar unto the Lord God of Israel in mount Ebal, ³¹As Moses the servant of the Lord commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the Lord, and sacrificed peace offerings.

When Israel renewed their covenant, after crossing Jordan, Joshua did as instructed to build an altar of uncut stones because cut stones show the works of man, therein is it shown that the work of atonement is free of man’s works.

Romans 4:2-3
²For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.³For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

When Abraham is rendered righteous, it is not because of what He did, neither because of circumsicion, but only through faith , for we are justified through faith which comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God..

Romans 1:5
By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Esther knew that all that she needed was availed in the purification process, it only took her to initiate her obedience to the word, the King’s attendant had told her, it only takes your obedience to what God’s word directs you to do.

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;

Because of what Christ did we have free access to the throne room, so it says come boldly to the throne of grace, and we have been made unto a priestly role to intercede, because Esther had fully grasped this secret, she had easy access to the King for she required nothing except for the word given unto her, obedience unto Faith, she could easily take on this intercessory role for Israel, her access to the king became easier, you can take this in the now or in the future. When you obey and believe in the atonement work of Christ, You’ll have un deniable access.

Makeup is an art that is so transformative but rather denies the revelation of the real You yet when removed leaves a startling disappointment to the beholder compared to the painted look, religious devotees seem so holy with their ritualism seeing Christ Jesus as a piece of their artwork, but to have Jesus Christ as your only source is a true unveiling of your perfection.

In that case, come to that place, realize that all has been availed in Christ Jesus, you could wonder where does Jesus fit in the Esther story, I would say, He did fit from the very beginning !!

Prophetic Utterance:

I am made up of everything excellent, not the religious ritualism of man, neither by extra beautifications, for my beautification comes from Christ whose righteousness I am.
I am blessed with every spiritual blessing, I am a royal priesthood, a holy chosen nation, peculiar and assigned for good works.
I am acceptable, beloved, adopted and predestined, holy and without blame, the praise of His glorious name.
Halleluya.

Ephesians 1:3-6
³Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:⁴According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: ⁵Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, ⁷To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved
