“Come up hither to.”
Colossians 3:1
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
The Greek word for ABOVE means upward or on the top .
The phrase on the RIGHT HAND of God implies a place of power, authority, glory, honor, for it is written : THE Lord (God) says to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool (Ps: 110:1).
Seek those things which are from above….,if you did notice, there are plenty of times where we have divine mysteries upon mountains figuratively speaking, for mountains are elevated ABOVE..
Revelation:4:1-2
¹After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.²And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
There is a realm where God wants us to be, so to John it is come up hither to and I will show you what will take place in the future ( Rev:4:1).
Come up hither to: For up therein is the supernatural, divine mysteries revealed, power, glory, dominion, victory for this reason seek those things which are from above. Emphasis being WHERE CHRIST sits, a seat of victory like Moses conquering the Amalikites ( Ex:32:15), a place of glory like at the mount of transfiguration, a place of dominion like Elijah calling fire from the mountain, a place full of divine mysteries revealed like unto Moses at the Mountain Sinai and John to whom it is said : Come up hither, heaven was opened , it was upto John to take the initiative to come up, allow your spirit to sync with the spirit and dive into the known unknown.
Moses received the ten commandments from up high, the mountain, after forty days and nights (Ex:34:29), He comes back with a immense glory undefined, Jesus in similar manner, goes to the Mountain with Peter John, James who behold him with a certain glory, after which he moved and his appearance awestruck the people that saw Him and right there He manifests power undeniable , a dumb deaf person is healed where the disciples failed to minister the healing power ( Mathew:17:1-19).
Moses attained great victories as he sat on the mountain, fighting an un fought battle sitted on a rock up high against the Amalekites and victory was attained ( Ex:17:9).
Matthew 5:14
¹⁴Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.¹⁵Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
God wants you to stand out, at an elevated point, at the point of elevation is where you meet God…to a place of dominion, power .,..so it is written to keep your mind on things above
Set your light ablaze , let your glory be seen, let your light blaze forth and spreading forth to the ends of darkness for we l’re in Him who is the Light whose light is the life of men.
Joel:3:17
So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
The mountains(elevated places) are a point of encounter with God, Moses encountered God from the mountain more than once, Jesus too, Elisha manifested God’s power from a high point , when you move from the low earthly realm, to the realm that is Above, a manifestation of God is made , a life from above.
Hebrews:12:22-23
²²But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,²³To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
We are meant to be in that realm, the Zion realm, a realm of the living God which implies that life springs from that realm because of the living God, the God of all life thus this life should flow through anything lifeless, a flow of glory, power, honor , authority.You are mount Zion, meant to operate from a high point, a heavenly point, His habitation. You operate from a realm of countless angels, like Elisha, there is a multitude of the Angellic around us, let us engage to engage for angels are ministering spirits unto us!!
Prophetic Utterance
I am from above and not below, my mind is set on that which is above, I sit in the heavenly spehere by virtue of my being in Christ. Thank You Jesus for this place that is above that you have given me ..
