My Sound

1 Corinthians 14:10
There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

Every voice in itself is significant. I read this verse and somethings started making sense to me. When a baby is born, the very first voice it will recognize will be it’s mother’s voice because it is the voice that it has grown accustomed to over the months. Every voice has a purpose to it and what, if I may ask is the purpose of yours?

The opening verse teaches us that each and every one of us has a significant voice however my question is, how significant is your sound? Is it touching people in a positive way and making a ripple effect..

John 10:27
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

If we belong to the same sheepfold we should be able to recognize the voice of our shepherd. When you hear His voice it should be able to give you life (the words that He speaks are spirit and they are life John 6:63)

OR.. is your sound disturbing to the ears? Ever wondered why there are some people you cannot receive from? They will advise and say all kinds of things to you and physically they really are not bad people but you just don’t understand their voice…

1 Corinthians 14:11
Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.

We have just been fasting and one of our prayer points was to have a higher discernment. This world has many voices, some voices that will sound just as truth and yet they are not. The spirit of discernment will enable us to differentiate between false and truth.

Genesis 21:17
And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

God only hears the voice (sound) of those that He is in covenant with.

Proverbs 15:8
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

I am not saying that Hagar was a wicked person but when she lifted up her voice and wept (verse 16), God did not hear her cry but heard the voice of the lad. Was the lad speaking? No… God simply heard the voice of His covenant with His friend Abraham and because Ishmael was the seed of Abraham, that automatically gave Ishmael access to the  promise.

Genesis 21:13
And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

Child of God, if Ishmael the son of a bond woman could be heard by God how more  you who is free?

Galatians 4:31
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Let your voice be lifted up to God covenant child, know that you have access to God through His son (new covenant).

Prophetic Utterance:

I am a covenant child
When I speak God hears
My voice is significant and distinct to bring all creation to the knowledge of God.
Everything about me resounds the glory of God.
Hallelujah
