A Reignited Memory

Luke 24:1-7
¹Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. ²And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. ³And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. ⁴And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: ⁵And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? ⁶He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, ⁷Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

At the scenery of Jesus’ crucification , darkness filled the land , and the sun’s light faded, the curtains of the holy of holies torn apart and  Jesus cried out and gave his last breath and all the throngs that had gathered to see this spectacle, when they saw what had taken place, returned to their homes, and all the acquaintances of Jesus and the women who had followed Him from Galilee stood at a distance and watched these things ( Luke 23:44-49).
All the acquittances of Jesus stood a distance, traumatised by the view, fear triggered within, hope broken, all seemed dere and bleak ( extreme depressing gloom).
I can imagine the brokeness of these guys, the hope once possessed, looking back and seeing what was and what is!!  Wondering what next?
The great man that once did wonders, saved trillions, healed countless people, now laying down broken and tainted, worse even, looking helpless, a King crowned with thorns, a spectacle Surely that struck hearts. The feeling is expressed by one of the disciples when he says.

Luke 24:21
But we were hoping that it was He Who would redeem and set Israel free. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things occurred.

It is now the third day: Even at three days, they were still down cast, caught in sadness. The end result of focusing on a negative situation is a down cast countenance, the same is a result of forgeting the assured word of God, He had said He will rise Again on the third day, was it because they didn’t perceive or just forgot or both?
The women were perplexed but were made to Remember His word. Remember what he has said, doubt may cave in but rest in His word !! It is sure, tried and tested with a firm resolve.
Break out of the confusion, cease the moment, be perplexed no more, break out of the fears, arise in hope. At your point of confusion, distress , call it whatever you want, when things don’t seem the way they should, focus not on the situation but on the word , perceive perceive perceive, the word rendered, it is beyond your circumstance, your present may seem contrary but rest assured, in His word is assured Hope and truth, surely what He says, He fulfills.
He said He will rise again and so He did, when things seemed like alot was at an end, when all hope was lost and fear caved you in, there was that assured word, the word that was ignored for depression and gloom, sadness and hopelessness yet in it is a certain joy, happiness and a hope forfeited.
There is always that assured word you need to remember, it will keep you moving, it will reawaken your hope and spike you to ignite even others to the same Hope. The women after being called to rememberance what Jesus had said, they went forth to tell others aswell to ignite the same joy they possessed.
But when they the women reported, it seemed like an idle tale( Luke:24:11).

Prophetic Utterance:
My hope is awakened by His word, I break out of all confusion, in a quickening of memory of Jesuss words, i am reflecting His glory for all to see and partake,
