Old Landmarks

Genesis 35:1-3
¹And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother. ²Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments: ³And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

In God speaking to the Fathers, He issued instructions on the next move, and the sons of the Fathers were to obey the voice of the Fathers as they would God, Many love to think that landmarks were established because the Fathers had Faith which is true and thus the erection of alters. It was however done in obedience and practice of Faith.
These became a reference point in our walk of Faith.

Proverbs 22:28-29
²⁸Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set. ²⁹Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

Without understanding we will despise established landmarks, in the now You will never physically see these but by Faith You stand tall and Honour the works of old that have been turned into landmarks of God’s Grace unto us.
Sons ought to stand in a posture of Humility to gain access to the deepest places of Grace.

‘Young men think Old men are stupid, however, Old Men know that Young men are Stupid’

An old Man’s tale:

When we have gained mastery of a thing, it doesn’t mean we have mastery of all things, it is of Humility and knowledge to decelerate knowing a Lion wouldn’t last long in the natural habitat of a Shark, just as a shark wouldn’t last that long in the natural habitat of a Lion.
Non of these two creatures would die because either attacked the other, the strange environment in itself would take life out of them.

Psalms 37:25
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Prophetic Utterance:

I glory in obedience to God for He alone is my guide.
I am the best at what I’m gifted in, I am the best at hearing my Father God even by the Father given me.
The rock upon which I stand shall not be moved.
I am founded on the Rock Jesus.
Halleluya
