Jesus-The Yardstick measure

John 14:6-10
⁶Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ⁷If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” ⁸Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” ⁹Jesus answered: ¹⁰“Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

Someone said unto me, “…Aaaah but You cannot compare Yourself to me, Your Faith is more than mine”…”so it is obvious You are more blessed than me”…
For a Moment I desired to affirm that Yes I am more yadi yadi ya…
But said no, no, no…acknowledging that God causes the sun to shine upon all. Cain was blessed by God, Marked by God, defended by God even after He by human judgment was worthy of being put to death for murdering His brother, a thing He had not Discernment of.

Genesis 4:9
And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

In saying l, I know not, Cain said I have no Discernment of murder…considering it was the first ever murder…He could not understand what had happened to Abel but could certainly discern jealousy Genesis 4:5, He could discern punishment Gene’s 4:13, Cain Could discern the absence and presence of God’s, Cain could discern Love Gen 4:17.

Something I find strange is in…

Genesis 4:14
Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

Here Cain can discern that even while He is talking to God, He is outside the thicket of God’s favour, the Land which He is being driven from is God’s presence.
In God’s presence we Suddenly can discern truth…Cain could discern that He was on the Human’s Hitlist yet at this point we know by biblical text that there were only 3 people on earth but should be able to discern that there were more people considering Cain three verses later has a wife.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Back to the someone in context, He does discern that God is with me and believes that I am blessed beyond anything He could ever see, but in believing I am more blessed than He is, He simply is acknowledging the works of God that He does in me.
All the spectacular and supernatural things He sees, He ascribes to a Man and not necessarily God…as we see Cain is talking to God but He is away from God’s presence.

Many can discern emotions well in form of despair, jealousy…and act on them, but fail to discern the presence of God even when they sacrifice to God like Cain did in a priestly act.

I say, Go for Jesus and You will walk into His presence and by this, the eyes of your understanding will be lit up to know all things, and your fruitfulness will be of God alone. In this You will be able to loose(release) and manifest things from God’s kingdom into this earth and acknowledge His works in men as God’s mighty works.

Prophetic Utterance:

I am blessed and I know it,
I agree with God’s word in totality,
I have the Spirit of God and His presence is the essence of my life.
I am highly favoured;
I prosper in all things because I am accepted in the beloved.
My Faith stands and by it I have access to everything I rightly discern in Christ Jesus.

Guiding Text:

Isaiah 1:18-20
¹⁸Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. ¹⁹If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: ²⁰But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
