Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
The Greek meaning of the word baptised is baptizo which means immerse. When one is immersed in water, it fully covers them and they come out dripping water. when we are baptised into Christ, who is the fullness of God, we become fully immersed in His being and partake of His fullness and come forth dripping ‘His Life”.
We have put on Christ , which implies, it is no nolonger you that lives but Christ living through you, we then must arise no longer seeing each other in our former state, a state of segregation, whether Jew or non-Jew, rich or poor, male or female, because we’re all one through our union with Jesus Christ with no distinction between us.
We become one with Christ. To this He says:
John 17:23
“I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.”
Jesus’s life was an experiential one with the Father, that He spoke as He heard the Father speak, He was too sensitive in hearing the Father speak and lead Him in His ministry as He preached, healed, delivered, spoke, everything about Him was in unison and unity with the father and so He wants us to live out that same experience, that we may walk a walk as Him, in unison and unity with Him, whose words depart not from our lips, manifesting forth His very Life!
Matthew 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit…
When one believes , it is a faith that immerses you into the name in which the disciples baptised ( Jesus) in whom is the deity ( God the father and the Holyspirit ). The believer takes in Christ and becomes one with Him.
We are baptised in the name of Christ, the name that holds the full deity of God, the name whose sound is power and authority , the name that makes things be!!
Romans 6:3
Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
The simply implies You died with Him and behold You live by Him now.
Prophetic Utterance :
How great is your Name Oh Lord, a name with a sound of power, a name that is not matched against any other name.
I am the sound of that power, no longer I but Him, highly filled with His fullness and manifesting forth His very Life.
