Walk in the word

Matthew 14:28

²⁸And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.²⁹And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

We have read this story over and over again and many of us believed that Peter walked on water however Peter walked on the word of Christ “Come”. Peter in that moment believed that that word was able to hold him up and not let him sink until he started to observe lying vanities (the winds and storm around him)

Jonah 2:8

They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

When you start looking at the situations around you, you make the word of God seem weak and yet we know that forever His word is settled in heaven…immovable, true and has Power!

Don’t focus on fear, focus on the word of God. You have to judge Him faithful, He that has instructed you, He will most definitely not let you sink, He even promised that He would enlarge the steps beneath you that you do not slip.

Psalms 18:36

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,

that my feet did not slip.

Believe that word, walk in it, manifest it, become it.

Judges 6:14

And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

God’s word is sure as can be, it doesn’t consider the weakness of the vessel, it considers the strength of God within the vessel. Gideon considered himself to be from the least family in Israel but God knew that when He called him.

If God has sent you, it doesn’t matter your family background, He will accomplish His will through you. God doesn’t need your strength, He simply needs your Yes.

1 Samuel 30:8

And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

God’s word is a statement of fact, it is not a maybe….it is truth.  David understood this very well, even after suffering loss, he simply encouraged himself in the Lord because He knew the God he had chosen to trust.

Regardless of the loss that you have suffered, the Lord says purse, overtake and recover ALL! Walk in that word that God has given you, hold on to it like it’s the very air you breathe because it is exactly that;

John 6:63

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

There’s a story where at the end of church the man of God declared the word for the week and said this week you are “invincible” to mean too powerful to be defeated or overcome but one gentleman heard invisible instead of invincible so he gets home and continues declaring that word “I am invisible” fast forward at night he gets uninvited visitors who had actually come to take his life but he remembered the Utterance his Pastor said and he repeated it in his heart.

The robbers confused searched for the man and couldn’t see him yet he was right in front of them. The power of walking and believing the word said unto you

So this day why not walk in all the promises God has written to and in you. Register them in your spirit and in your heart and watch yourself become that word.

Prophetic Utterance:

I walk in the word of God, I manifest it, I become it.

I am a wonder unto many

I am Gods battle axe and weapon of war

I pursue, I over take, I recover all
