Sometimes God chooses to leave the mountains unmovable…choose to trust Him
Isaiah 45:2
I will go before you
and will level the mountains;
I will break down gates of bronze
and cut through bars of iron.
Indeed God is able to move mountains for you even level them for you to have a smooth sail, however what happens when He that moves mountains decides to leave them there….Do you choose to trust Him and in Him or do you look for alternative ways to have the mountain removed?
Judges 3:1-2
¹Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;²Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;
For every mountain that you face, therein is a lesson for you. Do you perceive it? The scripture above shows us the reason God left some nations in the promised land. And indeed there was a promise that was given to the Israelites,
Exodus 34:24
For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.
However these nations were left so that the children of Israel would learn how to fight because the older generation that knew how to fight had now no more.
There are some mountains that are left in your way so that you can learn a new skill and this skill will be beneficial for you and your children in the future.
Exodus 23:28-30
²⁸And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.²⁹I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.³⁰By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
There is a mountain you are also going to face because God has scheduled increase for you so you expand. Until you are able to handle your promise, there will be a mountain that will also shape you to be able to handle your promise and not squander it.
The thought of waiting sometimes can really be discouraging especially after you’ve gone through the 400yrs of slavery and another 40yrs in the desert, what you want is to grab your promise and enjoy it. But if you were given that promise when you were not ready, you wouldn’t enjoy it much. It is like giving an untrained 20yr old $1m, you can only imagine the results.
The beauty about this is that your promise will not be taken away from you, someone else is helping you keep it and improve it until you are ready for it
2 Corinthians 12:7
⁷And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure ⁸For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.⁹And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
There will also be times when God chooses to leave that mountain before you so that you can simply trust Him.
Regardless of the mountain, God’s loving kindness and mercy are more than enough and are always available for you in time of need.
Prophetic Utterance:
I trust Your perfect timing for me
See all things work together for my good
You increase my greatness and comfort me on every side.
