Salvation

Ephesians 2:8-10
⁸For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ⁹Not of works, lest any man should boast. ¹⁰For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Salvation is not earned, it is a gift of God. We may do very many good things and project them toward God, and ‘Yes’ even with all good intent and visible good deeds, by no means do they qualify anyone for salvation.

Drinking a colourless, odorless liquid does not necessarily mean that it is water and safe to drink.

2 Peter 2:6-8
⁶And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; ⁷And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: ⁸(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

What made Lot a righteous man!
Lot lived amongst the wicked and it vexed (distressed) him, the corruption He contended with in his heart/mind/spirit.
Lots error was the questionable decisions that he took, this however did not tilt his faith as his aversion to the immoral practices remained.

Romans 10:6-7
⁶But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) ⁷Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

Salvation remains a thing of the heart and it begins at the resurrection. The whole gospel of God is about one thing, ‘The death and ressurection of Jesus our Lord’ and this is the good news. The power to make alive.

There’s nothing dead in Your life aslong as You are in Christ Jesus, Our life’s supply is only in the Spirit of Jesus. Accept this truth and live in Gods liberty.

Genesis 15:6
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Righteousness is to have moral virtue, display justice, to have rectitude, and all these by no means can be equated to salvation much as it is a portion of salvation.

Two words for salvation:

Sozo- is to make whole/deliver
Sotero- deliverer/Saviour

1 John 4:14
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

The main aspects of salvation are so; Grace, Reconciliation, Justification, Faith, Abraham and Lot obviously walked in Gods grace, and exercised faith but by no means were they reconciled nor Justified as only in Christ Jesus is this possible.
Only the blood of Jesus Justifies and thus reconciles.

Prophetic Utterance:

I am justified in Christ Jesus,
I am fully reconciled in Christ Jesus.
I am sanctified daily by the washing of Gods words.
I am an ambassador of Gods Kingdom.
I am a Lord, I am a King.
My mind is set on the things of God alone.
I indite Gods matters, Iv got my mind made up.

Hebrews 9:11-12
¹¹But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; ¹³Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
