My response

Isaiah 50:2

Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.

God is always talking, the question is; are you hearing? And if you are, what is your response!

If you received a phone call and the person on the other end said “Hello” and you didn’t respond, I want to believe they wouldn’t add to that hello.

Likewise when God calls to you, depending on your response, there may be silence mostly because You are not talking but God is always speaking.

1 Samuel 3:10-11

And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.¹¹And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

We all know the story of Samuel, the first two times God called unto him and he was responding to the wrong voice, there was no message but as soon as Samuel responded God called Samuel and because he wasn’t responding there was no message until he responded to God, then was the message released

Genesis 22:18 (Amp)

And in your Seed [Christ] shall all the nations of the earth be blessed and [by Him] bless themselves, because you have heard and obeyed My voice.

How can I speak about your response without speaking about obedience or disobedience. Either way, whichever way you choose to respond  has results.

Our beloved father Abraham responded in obedience and because of his obedience we are enjoying this fruit. Our response is not ours alone, we are called to serve the people. Keep in mind that your response destroys or mends a generation. The verse above has clearly stated that because Abraham responded in faith, we are enjoying his fruit which is Christ.

Jonah 1:1-4

Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,²Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.³But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.⁴But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

Like I said earlier, we are not called for ourselves, we are called for others. A response of disobedience from Jonah called those around him to suffer. They lost all their property, their money and almost lost their lives. If you are in the company of someone running away from God, ditch them and if you are that person that is running away from God’s calling, please help those around you.

Luke 1:38

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Mary’s response to all the things had Gabriel had told her was “be it unto me according to thy word” she willingly gave herself up as a vessel. What if she had refused? Peradventure God would have chosen another vessel and we would not know about this Mary.

Matthew 16:15-18

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?¹⁶And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.¹⁷And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.¹⁸And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

This question is a personal one, no one can answer it for you. Who do you say Christ is to you? Is your answer like the disciples answer when they said what people were testifying of Christ? Is your testimony of Him based on what you’ve heard other people say? What is your response? Who is Christ to you? And what is your response to Him?

John 21:17

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Where there is Simon’s name, input your name. Your response is what matters

God is speaking and until you respond to Him, there will be no message for you.

He says call unto me and I will answer…He’s willing to answer as long as there is a call, a response on your end.

Jeremiah 33:3

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Prophetic Utterance:

My response to your call is yes Lord

My feet will carry good news

Grace has been poured into my lips and they are ready to speak for you

My hands do your work

I fulfill your purpose in my life
