Christ be preached”Can you catch a great fish with a broken net?”

Christ be preached”Can you catch a great fish with a broken net?”

Colossians 4:2
²Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; ³Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Paul had an intense yearning, a desire to abandon all interests with outstretched hands of expectations to preach the gospel, so intently that He prays for a door of opportunity to preach the gospel, so unselfishly that regardless of the criticism and men with feigned preaching of the gospel, He says , never the less Christ be preached!!

Philippians 1:18
What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretense, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

This is the goal that we should keep pushing, that Christ be preached, whether for selfish ambitions or not, whether with wrong motive or not, unfortunately many hinder the cause in the name of religious claim.
As it is written: I will make you fishers of men; unlike fish that are caught and die, we become fishers that give life to people. This is our mission, our goal, our command. So we should seize every moment , every opportunity to preach.

Luke 5:6
⁶And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were breaking…

When Peter’s Net broke on the first catch of fish, other factors being constant , it showed how that many were lost yet caught, many heard and saw Jesus preach and believed but feared to join the believers crew because of the Pharisee’s threats and criticism, on the other hand, after the resurrection, we go into a new dimension, where Peter caught fish more than the first catch and the net didn’t break, a picture of what the resurrection of Jesus made that many were attracted to join the faith without fear of the religious Pharisees, many were caught and all was retained.

Unfortunately we have people hindering the cause of this mission either directly or indirectly!! It’s either you speak against the power of God manifested by another, or find a point of criticism. In that sense many tag men of God names and allegations that hinder others from entering the life realm, like the Pharisees, you become a stumbling block to others, instead of seeking the opportunity to preach, you seek one to criticize. Yet Jesus evidently demonstrated that all that matters is His name be preached, for when the disciples approached Him relates to a man who cast out demons in His name yet not His follower, He responded that He who is not against them is for them!!

Mathew 23:13
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

The Pharisees were a religious sect of Jews determined to keep God’s law, devising petty laws yet they were his most bitter implacable strongest opponents, who accused Him of using Beelzebub’s (prince of devils) power on healing a man ( Mathew 12:22, Mathew 12:9-14), as well as accusing Him of breaking the law l, which they understood in their own way that pleased them…

So the question stands: Are you holding a broken net or a full net? Are you a Pharisee in disguise of a believer or a Paul for a believer? Are you one of the kind that claim to preach the gospel yet on the other side condemn, criticize and always look for a way, an error about a certain man of God thus hindering many from accessing the kingdom realm, holding a broken net in hand or are you living beyond the realm of a broken net?
After Christ’s resurrection, the intent is that many be won over to the cross regardless of the opposition and criticism and false claims or motives.

Prophetic Utterance:

I am the brightness of the firmament, turning many unto righteousness, through every opportunity given to utter or preach His word, my net is mended because I live in the resurrected life of Christ, to catch and retain, I will speak and hold not my peace !!
Halleluya

John:21:5-6
Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. 6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Mark 9:38-40
³⁸ And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. ³⁹But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. ³⁹For he that is not against us is on our part.
