Revelation 5:1-2
¹And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. ²Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?”
The secrets of God are subject to Him and He reveals them to whom He pleases! It is a profound truth that only the Lamb, who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29), was able to open the scroll. This implies that those who are in the Lamb, those who have been made worthy by the washing of the lamb’s blood, are worthy and able to know the hidden secrets of God. God can reveal His secrets to His servants, for this reason, which is that Christ Himself has given unto us the Holy Spirit to reveal to us the hidden secrets of God for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10).
John 16:13-15
¹³However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. ¹⁴He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. ¹⁵All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore, I said that He [a]will take of Mine and declare it to you.
He alone can unlock and unveil the future, reveal what is, what was, and what will be. He is the only one in a position to determine the now, the then, and the hereafter events because all things are meant to submit under Him since He purchased the whole world.
Psalms 25:14
¹⁴The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He will make them know His covenant.”
To Abraham He said, Can I hide anything from Abraham, the Amplified version adds, “My friend” (Gen18:17)! Being friends of God, He cannot hide anything from us and the closer you are the more He reveals. We notice that Jesus revealed the mystery of the parables to his disciples and then most exclusively revealed deeper secrets to those who were closer to Him, like John, the one that Jesus loved, Peter, the one who was zealously passionate about God and James the one who desired to sit at his right-hand side (Mark:9:2). These were marked with love, zeal and a longing to be where Jesus was, to be in such a place thus to gain even more access to his secrets.
Matthew 13:11
¹¹“Jesus answered them, “To you, it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.”
After realizing the great mystery, we are granted access to heavenly mysteries. The gates of heaven are opened to reveal deep truths previously unknown to us. All we need to do is draw near to the divine and it will draw near to us.
Prophetic Utterance:
To You, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
For You have given me wisdom and power,
Even now, You have made known to me the mysteries of heaven.
Halleluya
