Amos 3:3
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
When two people have set on course to go a certain direction/journey, they need to come to an agreed say the number of stops they will make before they reach their destination, how long the journey will take etc etc
This is the same with this Journey of salvation, it is you and God and you have to be in agreement. Are you in agreement with the rules and regulations of this journey?…
Colossians 1:10-11
¹⁰That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
¹¹Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Here are some guidelines to follow in this salvation walk, be fruitful -What have you done with the gift that God has blessed you with? Has it gained interest or have you buried it in the ground?
Increase in the knowledge of God; the Bible says that every day we are transformed into the image of God
2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
That means that the knowledge of God that you have today should be different from the knowledge you had yesterday.
If you check yourself and the knowledge you had of God last year is still the same even today then there is something wrong and know the problem is not with the person you are walking with being God, the problem is with you.
Colossians 1:11
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Is this walk going to be a stroll in the park? You better believe it’s not, there will come challenges but these you will handle with patience, long suffering and joyfulness..but who wants to be joyful when trials come your way? No one, you’d rather complain all the way till the storm has ceased but that’s not a character of one in agreement with God.
We want the benefits of the kingdom but if we do not know the power of God (knowledge of who He is) then we cannot agree with Him.
1 John 2:5
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.⁶He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
The more you walk with God the more you become like God. There is a certain union that you can only get from the fellowship with Christ Jesus (word)
John walked the journey and saw and heard and handled the word of life. This is what we too are supposed to become in our walk with the word until you disappear in the word and become the word.
It really matters to God who we walk with.
Quiet reflection; Who are you in agreement with?
Prophetic Utterance:
I walk the walk of Christ
I manifest Christ in me the Hope of Glory
I am the fragrance of God’s knowledge
When I move God moves
