1 John 1:1-4
¹That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; ²(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) ³That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.⁴And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
The Word of God was existent before the physical manifestation of Jesus, however the only real way to interact with Gods word was through belief.
Many longed for the day the things spoken of were to be manifest, however many died before seeing the manifestation, those that did see grappled with believing.
James 2:19
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
To believe is to commit one’s trust to.
In (Matthew 8:28-29) devils addressed Jesus by name and declared that He was the son of God.
To you however, power is given to become a Son of God, only when You believe, once You believe, faith starts to grow considering You are a Son.
Jesus comes to ignorant men, calls them telling them to follow Him, they believed and followed.(culturally, a Rabbi- had to have disciples that He would teach to become like Him, and the cycle would repeat thus establishing a larger body)
Matthew 28:19-20 niv
¹⁹Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Are You a believer, A Disciple, An eye witness or a Witness of the life of God, Working the works of Faith!!
2 Timothy 2:1-2
¹Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. ²And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
The Disciples (learners) were eye witnesses, then learned from the Master-Jesus but were made witnesses of the Gospel, they did the works of Faith with manifest power displaying the very life of God.
Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Prophetic Utterance:
I work the works of Faith,
I am a Son of God manifesting the life of God,
I am a witness and the proof of Gods works, He lives in me
I finished believing in Jesus, God walks in me,
Where He goes, there am i also, I belong to and with God.
