Triumphant in Jesus

Luke 8:49-50
⁴⁹While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
⁵⁰But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

Nothing committed to the hands of our precious saviour ends in failure. There is nothing left in His care that dies. Nothing brought to His attention ever ends in disappointment. No journey with the Lord Jesus ends in futility.

Our anchor scripture today is about a man named Jairus who is a Jewish leader. He came to Jesus and told Him of his daughter who was gravely sick. It was an emergency.

Jairus requested that the Lord would come to his house and minister to his daughter for her to be well again. Jesus agreed to go to his house to pray for the young girl of twelve years old. As they journey to Jairus’ house, a lady with an issue of blood came in and got her healing by touching the clothes of Jesus. While the healing of the woman was being celebrated as she tells her story of pain and suffering for twelve years that just vanished in a second when she touched the master, time went by and Jairus’s daughter died.

As they continue the journey news arrives from Jairus’ house saying his daughter is dead and thus he shouldn’t bother the master anymore. Jesus on hearing the news said to Jairus, fear not, only believe, your daughter shall be made whole. Jesus got to the house and restored the girl back to life.
There is nothing you commit into God’s hands that fails, you name it.

Jairus brought his daughter’s situation to the Lord and he was not disappointed. I don’t know what you have been Praying about, fasting about and trusting God about. Hear me child of God, Jesus will never fail you, only believe Him.

We know that as they journeyed to the house, the child died? Sometimes contrary things manifestations mislead our faith. You were praying for promotion and the entity closed, maybe it was a child and You miscarried, beware that, that is not the end of the story. You cannot cry to God and crash. Your story can’t end like that. A miracle must rescue you.

Keep believing, Jairus journeyed with the Lord on the matter of his daughter and obtained victory. No journey with Jesus ends in futility. Whatever you have been committing unto the Lord’s hands will prosper . Consider God in all things, keep prayer alive, keep fasting, keep giving, keep preaching and serving the Lord. Sooner than later you shall celebrate and be celebrated in Jesus mighty name.

Prophetic Utterance:

No journey with the Lord Jesus is futile.
I walk in victory and celebration in Jesus’ Name.
I win for a lifestyle, I am walking in Jesus, my destination is from victory and celebration.
A greater glory is my portion.
I am blessed and the blessing in Jesus name.
Halleluya

1 Samuel 1:19-20
¹⁹Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her.²⁰So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the Lord.”

1 kings 17:19-24
¹⁷Now it happened after these things that the son of the woman who owned the house became sick. And his sickness was so serious that there was no breath left in him.¹⁸So she said to Elijah, “What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to kill my son?”¹⁹And he said to her, “Give me your son.” So he took him out of her arms and carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his own bed.²⁰Then he cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, have You also brought tragedy on the widow with whom I lodge, by killing her son?”²¹And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.”²²Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived.²³And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper room into the house, and gave him to his mother. And Elijah said, “See, your son lives!”²⁴Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is the truth.”
