Isaiah 41:10-11
¹⁰Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
¹¹Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded:
they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
Our nature is to fear even based on senses and experience. From the day one is born, they are on a data collection journey, I learned that an infants brain does not know pain until it is introduced to them, from then on, they start to naturally decode it and cry as they have understood its discomfort .
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Our belief in God is taught to us as swell and it is a choice for us to respond to according to how we have believed. Our opening text tells us not to fear, that’s how we are to decode this word but it contradicts the nature in us being sight, emotions, understanding and worse still, even our misunderstanding.
We get dismayed because we have not decoded who God is, infants can be fed naturally by different mothers and it will not matter to them who is feeding them as long as they are fed. We should learn from them. However when we grow, we get to be person and situation sensitive knowing our source, When we fail to decode that our parents are simply stewards of life rather than givers of life, we certainly will not trust in God as God when He says I am God.
After we have learned by nature, Cultures of men, experience, successes and failures, we are called to learn faith and how to apply it. Believing in God as our all is to be strengthened in totality.
We have heard of ‘it is easier said than done’ but I say ‘When done, it is easier done than said’
Practice your faith in God, test Him, take on His divine nature, study about it, dare to stand in Him, You will stumble upon life-altering truths and accept that God upholds His own with His right hand of righteousness.
Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
In Genesis 18:14, Sarah is assured of Gods guarantee of a Child, Gods presence suspends all things, be it pain, knowledge, time, impossibility, inability, name anything…
Gods assurance is that anything that contends against You has failed from the onset. It may not appear so but decode it as so because He has said so.
Prophetic Utterance:
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I rightly divide the word of truth, so I am not ashamed in the face of anything, I am no motivated by words, I am inspired of the Holyspirit.
I am anchored in God, the truth of God is my radar so I am always on course, I am not misguided by the waves of the sea, only Gods true doctrine is my portion .
I am safe in God.
