John 5:26
As the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.
The Greek meaning of the word Zoe is life, attached to it is a life that is full of possibilities, sustained through faith in Jesus, a life that reflects God and releases the very best of God. He that is joined with the Lord is one with Him thus we take on His very nature to function as Him.
1 Corinthians 6:17
¹⁷But He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Zoe comes from the name Eve ( chavvah, meaning life giver or make known-prophetic declaration )!
From the creation of the world, God has intended for man to Have His very life; And man became a living soul!! So God from the beginning has wanted man to be as Him, functioning as Him, inscribing His life from eternity to humanity.
Everyone has eternal life, either eternally in Christ or in damnation, the difference is it is only in Christ that we sustain this very Life!! When the first man Adam fell, God sought to sustain His very life through the last man Christ!! Remember when man had fallen and wickendness found its place among men, God makes a striking statement ; Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not forever dwell and strive with man, for he also is flesh; but his days shall yet be 120 years “, so God had to sustain His Life in man through Christ ( Gen 6:3).
1 Corinthians 15:45
⁴⁵Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit [restoring the dead to life]. [Genesis 2:7]
Through Jesus, God’s very eternal life is revived, a beginning of a new generation, indwelt by the Holyspirit to carry the life of God overflowing with all possibilities.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
God’s own desire is to see man re-align Himself through Christ to the life that was once robbed but now restored, to His nature once tainted now redeemed, to His authority robbed, now restored!!
Jesus Himself manifested this very life, in power, authority, speech, every bit of God’s nature so He says:
John 5:19
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
Jesus says again; I am the way, the truth and life, no one comes to the father except through me. It is through Jesus that we have this life, He is our limitless access to the father, a treasure box of His being, He is the bread of life, the water of life, the life of light, in whom God’s nature is imputed unto us, in this Paul says;
2 Corinthians: 5:17
¹⁷Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Prophetic Utterance:
Thank you Lord for the gift of the son, in Him we receive your fullness , in Him we move and live and have our being, a redefinition of who we are in You.
