Luke 6:49
But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
As noted, the temple of God and Christ is that foundation upon which our faith is grounded, the word that existed before time in eternity, thus there is no stability without the word!! We have to desire to know and understand the word of God which is the definition of being wise. (They that question God’s word with sense knowledge, great Intuitions and other natural methods will forever be unstable and can receive nothing from God)
The flood / torrent that comes and sweeps away; the flood can only shake that which is not firmly grounded . It is evident that when a flood comes, houses that are not built on a strong foundation are bound to collapse!!, those that are not grounded in the word are easily swayed, easily moved by the storms of life but that which is grounded in the word is bound to stand firm like a tree planted by the rivers, flourishing in and out of season Psalms 1:1-3).
The word of God is that which enables one to be firmly grounded, not only from the storms of life but also the flood of the end of the world for the end will come as a flood but only the wise will stand. It is only those that are not firmly grounded in the word that can easily be shaken, it is that word that causes one to be grounded and grow. Once you let that word sink down in You, pondering on it day and night, manifest understanding is evident and the shock waves of life become waves or storms that are only for a moment, as the word is an assurance and a silent voice that speaks to you, strengthening You, enlightening the eyes of your understanding and causing your roots to grow deeper, so tribulation or cares of the world, or the thorns of life can’t choke that word in You neither can the end but rather a rising and shinning forth of those whose roots are grounded in Christ ( Dan 12:3).
Colossians 2:6-7
⁶As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: ⁷rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Paul proceeds to say that we should be rooted and built up in Christ and established in faith as we have been taught/ instructed . The word of God is that which has brought unto us instruction, teaching us how we ought to walk a life following after Christ.
2 Timothy:3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Prophetic Utterance :
Father Lord I thank You for your word, for your word is a lamp unto my feet, teaching and instructing me in your ways, my eyes and ears are enlightened to perceive.
I am grounded
I am firmly established in you,.
I stand beyond the storms of life as i am well furnished with Your word.

Matthew 13:20-23
²⁰But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;²¹ yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.²²Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.²³But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
